The Dakota is an entry level inverter based machine, available for only a small cost increase as opposed to a competitor on/off unit. The inverter technology provides significant operating savings, more consistent temperature regulation, better reliability, quieter operation and boosts cooling / heating when switched on. When more than one unit is installed at a site, it is possible to have up to three units linked to a single outdoor unit (MultiSplit).

When running cost and better temperature control needs to be balanced with cost of purchase.
