Eurovent Efficiency Class

Eurovent Efficiency Class is a European certification programme that approves the performance and efficacy  ratings of air conditioning units in accordance with European and international standards.

All manufacturers that secure this certification test to the same standard. These published results can then be used by the consumer to reliably compare brands and units.
A COP (coefficient of performance) of 1 means it takes one unit of power to heat / cool 1 unit of air. A COP of 4 means it takes 1 unit of power to heat / cool 4 units of air. The higher this number, the better, as you will use less electricity to run the machine which means a cheaper electricity bill.

Ozone friendly refrigerant used

R410a

This is the type of refrigerant used inside the machine. R410 is the latest technology in refrigerant engineering, the result: The best possible efficiency and it’s not harmful to the atmosphere.

R22

This is the type of refrigerant used inside the machine. R22 is an older refrigerant and contains ozone depleting chemicals. Units offered with R22 are generally cheaper and not very environmentally responsible.

Heating & cooling for all year round temperature control

The inclusion of a heatpump in the unit means that the unit can both cool and heat air ensuring all year round climatic comfort.  Heatpump units are the most efficient way to heat any space.

The inverter compressor based machines feature compressors and fans that can speed up and slow down, as opposed to on/off machines that can only operate at 100% or switch off. An Inverter based unit adjusts compressor speed to match the room requirement. It uses less power, gives more stable room temperature control and switches on and off less. The reduction in on off switching makes the unit appear quieter and last longer.

The inverter can operate at 110% for a short period after start to cool/heat the room quicker when you switch it on.

Breathe Easy

This is a high efficiency triple filtration system. Firstly the Airwell ‘pre-filter’ removes particles above 20 microns in size. The unique Active Electrostatic Filtration system, found in every Airwell Premium Hi-Wall Split System, eliminates those very fine dust and pollen particles, down to 0.01 microns. Finally the ‘Carbon Activated Filter’ neutralises unpleasant odours such as cigarette smoke. The combination of these filters provides a cleaner, healthier environment for your family.

AirCare

This is the last stage of filtration whereby a Bi-polar air sterionizer actively purifies The air. The system eliminates smaller particles like bacteria and most viruses. In addition, the patented ioniser generates a balancing stream of negative ions. Ions are electrically charged particles present in the air we breathe. A build up of positive ions have a negative effect on our wellbeing and mood, whereas negative ions have a positive impact and can assist in the recovery of illnesses. The effect of Aircare on the air is the same as what rainfall and trees do in nature.

Airconet

Allows for the remote management of your climate control system via the internet on either your PC or your phone.

I Feel Function

Air does not disperse evenly throughout the room so often the air closest to the air conditioner is cooler than the air further away. The ‘I Feel’ function allows you to control the temperature at the point you are sitting. The unit will automatically programme itself to cool or warm and distribute the air accordingly.

Multisplit

A multisplit system has the advantage of being able to connect more than one indoor unit (up to five) to a single outdoor unit. Having a single outdoor unit takes up less space, is less unsightly, and is quieter than multiple outdoor units.

3 Year Warrantee

3 Year Warrantee, subject to installation and regular maintenance by a professional air conditioning contractor.

1. Warrantee includes electronics, cosmetics, mechanical and electric components.
2. The warranty excludes labour, travelling and refrigerant gas, as well as Acts of God, rodents, war, negligence & malicious damage.
3. The above warranty conditions are applicable from the date of supply to the contractor from the supplier.
4. Use of the product in other than its normal and customary manner including applications in an environment where the prime purpose is not for the comfort of humans, or where misapplied.
5. Environmental or site conditions not conforming to the product specifications.
6. Electrical supply fluctuations, faulty, incorrect or undersized external electrical wiring, incorrectly sized circuit breakers / fuses, incorrect power supply or interface not originating within the product.
